Your next crochet and knitwear submission proposal

I’m going to make this super quick.

Friend, I know you want to get published in the magazine. You think this one next submission proposal is going to be THE one.

But the truth is, you’re putting way too much pressure on yourself.

This one opportunity, the submission to the top crochet magazine or working with that uber-popular yarn company everyone is clambering for, while all great, will NOT make or break your design career.

It rarely happens that way.
Let’s be honest, that one accepted proposal will move you forward, but it isn’t going to cause the pearly gates of heaven to open and the angels come down with their trumpets saying “you’re a massive success now”.

No, it doesn’t happen like that. So, stop waiting for your big break and start breaking the rules and status quo! Stop waiting and start doing.

It’s not about hitting that one single home run, but rather being brave to go up to bat over and over, even where you’re scared, and doing your best to get on base.

Just keep doing the work... your best work every time. And trust that if it’s meant to be then it will be.

Make it about giving and being valuable and you’ll win every time.

Are you waiting for your big break! Now, I love hearing from you. Leave a comment below and let me know if you’re
1) waiting to hear back on a submission or
2) you’ve heard back (good or bad) so we can cheer you on and support you.

You totally got this.
