I can finally show off my latest design, Lenox Shawl, after waiting 6-months for the publication to go live. I am so proud of this one.
Lenox Shawl is a bottom up crescent shape shawl with an interesting cable lace edging, a simple lace transition to the stockinette body worked in short-rows to create the crescent shape. The pattern is available in written and charted instructions.
This shawl construction is new for me. I wanted to create an elegant shawl that was easy to transition as the weather moved from cold to warm to cold again.
Note from the book:
"After a long winter, nothing feels more invigorating than a soft, gentle spring breeze that lets you know it’s time to trade winter sweaters for lighter layers. Aura is an ethereal knitting collection of tops, tanks, cardigans, skirts and more, with patterns that feature light yarns, pastel colors, and airy details you’ll love to knit and wear as you celebrate the changing seasons."
Isn't this the truth! After the winter we've had in the Northeast, and still having, Now in early April, I am looking forward to putting away my winter coal and mitts, for some airy, warm weather knits.
If you are familiar with collections from Knit Picks, you know they publish patterns that range from simple sophisticate to teaching complex. The patterns in this collection is no different.
