I'm always thrilled to see knitters make my designs...even more so when they change up the yarn and pattern, putting their own unique stamp on it.
Peoplelover over on Ravelry did just that with her version of my Aquinnah Cliffs Shawlette, which she calls Pink Blush. First, she dyed the yarn. Cool, right?! Then, she changed up the garter body to stockinette, ending with a larger finished size. Here is a photo of her finished shawl.

Why knitters love the Aquinnah Cliffs Shawlette? The shawl is super easy to make, but looks more complicated than it actually it. It's easy to wear casually or with work clothes.
Take it on the go, in the car, at the campsite, at the playground, or even the movies. The simple garter (or stockinette) body is relaxing and mindless. The lace edge gives you a bit more interest to keep you going.
You can buy the pattern in my store.
