Ali'i Drive Waves Shawl is here
If you've been following me on social, then you've seen me crocheting this stunning shawl inspired by my recent vacation to Hawaii Big Island. As I've been playing with the yarn and experimenting with this shape, there is one thing I am reminded of is that a hook and string can make amazing things. With this shawl, I am reminded of my time along the coast and am thrilled to be able to share just a little piece of my experience with you.

Family Spring Break vacation to Hawaii Big Island. What could be better?
This shawl is a nod to our week in Kailua-Kona (home of the Ironman Triathlon) on the west coast of the island. It’s to remember our daily walks from our hotel down Ali’i Drive to the shops, restaurants, and a fantastic farmer’s market and seeing all the little beaches along the road and waves cracking on rocky shores. It’s to remind us of nature in all its beauty.
